Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Kidoc mobile application ("App") operated by Kidoc ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. About Kidoc
Kidoc is an AI-powered mobile application that helps parents discover fun, age-appropriate activities for their children. You describe your child's age, mood, and available time, and our AI assistant "Roo" suggests a personalised activity.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a parent or legal guardian to use this App. Kidoc is not intended for use by children. By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.
3. Account Registration
- You may register using your email address and password, or via Google Sign-In.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us immediately at bharathdhakar.in@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
4. Free Plan and Subscription (Kidoc Pro)
Free Plan
Free users may generate up to 5 AI activities per calendar month at no charge. This limit resets on the first day of each month.
Kidoc Pro
Kidoc Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks unlimited activity generations and the ability to manage multiple child profiles. Subscriptions are offered on a monthly or annual basis.
- Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store depending on your device.
- Payments are processed by RevenueCat on behalf of Apple or Google. We do not process payments directly.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- You may cancel at any time through your device's App Store / Play Store account settings.
- No refunds will be provided for the unused portion of a subscription period unless required by applicable law.
5. AI-Generated Content
- Activities suggested by Roo are generated by an AI model (Google Gemini) and are for informational and entertainment purposes only.
- AI-generated content may sometimes be imperfect, repetitive, or not perfectly suited to your child. Always apply your own parental judgment before attempting any activity.
- You are responsible for supervising your child during any activity and for assessing whether an activity is safe and appropriate for your child's specific age, abilities, and circumstances.
- We do not guarantee that any activity is safe, accurate, complete, or suitable for your child.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or tamper with the App, its AI systems, or its billing mechanisms
- Attempt to bypass the monthly free activity limit by any technical means (e.g., clearing app cache to reset the counter)
- Upload or submit any harmful, offensive, or illegal content through any text inputs in the App
- Use the App to collect data about other users
7. Intellectual Property
- The Kidoc name, logo, Roo mascot, and all app content are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.
- AI-generated activities are provided to you for personal, non-commercial use only.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our express written consent.
8. User Content
When you add information to the App (such as your child's name, interests, or pantry items), you retain ownership of that information. By entering it into the App, you grant us the limited right to use it solely to provide the App's services (e.g., to send it to the AI to generate a relevant activity).
9. Data and Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
- The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or virus-free
- AI-generated activity suggestions will be accurate, complete, or safe
- The App will meet your specific requirements
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to any harm or injury resulting from an activity suggested by the App.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we deem harmful to the App, its users, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by updating the "Effective Date" above. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
